Dillin Hoox was born into a family of poets, naturally inheriting an exceptional talent for translating thoughts and emotions into vivid, impactful lyrics.
With over a decade of experience in the music industry, he has earned a reputation as one of the most dedicated and skilled lyricists to emerge from Canada’s National Capital Region.
Throughout his career, Hoox has made numerous television appearances, including features on Global TV’s Everyday Heroes, RapCity, MuchVibe, and more. His work has also been recognized online by prominent platforms such as WorldStarHipHop, HipHopDX, and HipHopCanada. Notably, his collaboration with Kurdish superstar Chopy, released by the major Kurdish entertainment label VinTV, gained international traction and deeply resonated across the Kurdish region.
In North America, Hoox attracted widespread attention when he secured the number one spot on Snoop Dogg’s Underground Heat web series, with the track later airing on Snoop’s GGN network during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. Snoop Dogg himself went on to promote Hoox’s music across Twitter and Facebook. Hoox’s most recent release, Through Time, debuted at number two on the iTunes Canada Top Albums chart in the Hip-Hop/Rap category.
Further cementing his presence in the industry, Dillin Hoox currently serves as the Head of Hip Hop at Magic Records. As an artist, he has released tracks with major names such as Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and Nipsey Hussle. In addition to his own musical achievements, Hoox launched his own record label, Country On My Back, expanding his influence and supporting emerging talent. Demonstrating his continued impact and reach, he garnered over 10 million streams across all platforms in 2024.
